Tall Pines Quilt Guild has a rich history of serving the community of Huntsville, TX - and being instrumental in public education and awareness of quilting. TPQG was formed in 1984 with 23 original charter members for the purpose of:
fostering appreciation of fine quilts and of quilting among both quilters and the public
to increase knowledge of traditional and contemporary techniques of quilting
to provide an encouraging environment in which quilters can practice and exchange ideas
to educate the public as to the significance and history of quilting as an art form, as well as an ongoing craft
to preserve this rich heritage of quilting for future generations
We now have approximately 100 members participating in a vast array of quilting styles/activities, and would love to have you join the fun!
Quilt Angels
Quilt Angels are members of Tall Pines Quilt Guild that have served the guild in an extra-ordinary way. Designating them as a "Quilt Angel" is the guild membership's way of honoring these special members and thanking them for their service.
Thank you Quilt Angels for all you have done and continue to do for our guild!
