Tall Pines Quilt Guild

Formed in 1984 with 23 original charter members to:
- foster the appreciation of fine quilts with the
community
- increase the knowledge of traditional and
contemporary techniques of quilting
- provide an encouraging environment in which quilters
can practice and exchange ideas
- educate the public on the significance and history
of quilting as well as showing it as an art form and
ongoing craft
- preserve this rich heritage of quilting for future
generations

We now have approximately 100 members participating in a vast array of quilting styles and activities.

We meet the first Monday of each month
at University Heights Baptist Church -
located at 2400 Sycamore Ave.
