Karen Kay Buckley, author, teacher and quilter, began quilting in 1982 and has risen to the top of the quilting world with many national awards, including Teacher of the Year and seven Best in Show awards. In the spring of 1992 her first book “From Basics to Binding: A Complete Guide to Making Quilts” was published and she has completed three additional books on quilting since then. Garden Medley ![]() You will receive the pattern to complete this 3-panel wall quilt, but in class we will work on the center panel. While hand sewing on this panel you will learn how to achieve smooth curves, wonderful points and perfect circles. Karen will teach you her fun and easy tips to make your hand appliqué look great. Some sewing machines will be needed for this workshop for stem work, but a couple of machines will be provided in class so you do not need to bring yours.

This project also includes reverse appliqué and a fabric overlay for some added excitement. Come spend a fun packed six hours and learn lots of tips and tricks. Sewing machine required. |
