Calling All Miniature and Table Quilts for the 2010 Airing
Miniature Quilts - The Airing of the Quilts miniature quilt silent auction has been a successful fundraiser for the Guild each year. Members who can participate a asked to complete a mini measuring 24 x 24 inches or less. Please include a sleeve and label. The fabric, pattern, etc. are the choice of the contributing member. These are donated to the Guild, displayed in the Town Theater with the silent auction closing at 3:00PM the day of the Airing. Table Quilts- Size guidelines range from approximately 40” square to approximately 54” square. The fabric, pattern, etc. are the choice of the member. Please include a label. These quilts are displayed at the Airing and available for purchase at that time. Table quilts can be donated to TPQG with all proceeds benefiting the Guild or be treated as all other Airing quilts sales (the Quilter sets the selling price and when sold 85% of the sale price goes to the Quilter and 15% to the Guild). Any unsold table quilts will be returned to the Quilter. Please submit your mini(s) and /or table quilt(s) at the upcoming TPQG meetings (January thru April). Any Mini/table quilts completed after the April meeting should be turned in at Fabric Carousel by April 17th, 2010.
