The theme of the challenge was “...where a warm welcome awaits…” which is how Sam Houston signed his letters when he referred to Huntsville. The Fabric Carousel winner, picked by an independent judge, was Donna Hemphill. She received a $300.00 spending spree from Fabric Carousel. Thank you Doris! The quilt guild members voted on “Best of Show.” Our Guild “Viewer’s Choice” winners were: 1st Place—- Frances Goforth 2nd Place — Donna Hemphill 3rd Place — (3-way tie) Toni Bruner, Susan Craig, and Lisa Risler All of the Challenge Quilts will be on display at the “2005 Airing of the Quilts.”   Frances Goforth's #1 Winning Entry - voted by the guild Donna Hemphill's 2nd place entry, voted by the guild Toni Bruner's 3rd Place Tie entry, voted by the guild 3rd Place tied entry, voted by the guild Lisa Risler's 3rd Place tied entry, voted by the guild Congratulations everyone!
