Embroidery BeeA bee dedicated to all things hand sewn: cross-stitching, hand quilting, needle point, embroidery, or any other form. We are always happy to share our ideas and skills with all our members. Come for a visit, see how much fun we have and you might just be hooked. We welcome all skill levels, especially beginners. We are so happy to have added another day for embroidery bee. See times and place in the blue box on the left. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Embroidery Bee is canceled until September 8, 2010 due to lack of attendance because of grandchildren visits and vacations. See you then, Barbara Special Donation Quilt for 2011 Completed blocks are due in September. Ladies, we are very excited about our plans for a special donation quilt for the 10th anniversary of the Airing of the Quilts in 2011. Work is under way to create a Crazy Quilt to be raffled off to a lucky ticket holder at the Airing. We would love to make a second quilt to be won by a Guild member. Any extra blocks will be made into Mini Quilts for the Silent Auction. Please help with this project any way that you can. Make a block, embellish a block, put the quilts and mini quilts together, quilting the quilts, selling tickets to friends and relatives or taking the quilt to other guilds, shops and events to sell tickets.
