Airing Of The Quilts![]() The practice of airing the quilts after a long winter continues with the 11th “Airing of the Quilts” held the first Saturday in May in 2013 in historic downtown Huntsville, Texas "On the Square". At the largest outdoor quilt show in Texas, visitors will be able to see new and antique quilts, many of which are for sale. Over 300 quilts will be hanging around the Courthouse lawn and from its balcony. Quilts are also visible along the streets surrounding the square. Vendor booths will offer unique items for sale and don't forget to visit the Old Town Theatre for the Mini-Quilt Silent Auction and view the exhibit of quilts by our featured quilter, Kaye England.
